Hi! Thank you to everyone who came out to Open House last night. I know that it was kind of busy in our classroom and I feel like I did not really get the chance to "get to know" each of you as much as I would have liked. Next week we will jump right in to a handwriting curriculum called Handwriting Without Tears or just HWT. This curriculum uses a lot of hands on materials such as wood pieces, play-doh, chalk and chalk boards to teach handwriting and other school readiness skills. Our preschool students experience a lot of success with this program and we will be using it all year.
